YIMES – Youth India Medical Engineering Scholarship

Application & Scholarship Process

Step 1: Register Online
Visit the official YIMES website and create your account.

Step 2: Complete the Application Form
Log in using your User ID and Password. Fill in your personal, parents' and academic details, and upload the required documents.

Step 3: Pay the Examination Fee
Pay the application fee of ₹1,200 plus applicable GST. The fee is the same for all applicants.

Step 4: Appear for the YIMES Examination
Students can take the YIMES Scholarship Examination while preparing for JEE, NEET or another entrance examination.

Step 5: Check Your YIMES Score
Your YIMES examination score will determine your scholarship eligibility according to the official scholarship rules.

Step 6: Secure College Admission
Apply independently to your preferred government, private or semi-government college and complete its admission process.

Step 7: Submit Admission and Fee Details
After securing admission, submit your admission proof and academic-fee documents through the YIMES process for verification.

Step 8: Scholarship Verification and Payment
After successful verification, your scholarship amount will be calculated according to your YIMES score, eligible academic fee and official scholarship rules. The approved cash scholarship will be paid to the eligible student's or parent's personal bank account, subject to the applicable terms.

Important Information

The maximum academic fee considered for scholarship calculation is ₹12 lakh.
Students can choose their preferred eligible college; admission is not limited to a YIMES partner college list.
YIMES is a scholarship platform. It does not conduct college admissions or guarantee admission.
Scholarship benefits are subject to eligibility, document verification and the official terms and conditions.
