YIMES (Youth India Medical & Engineering Scholarship) is a scholarship platform designed to support students pursuing professional education in medical, engineering and related fields.
Students who wish to pursue eligible professional courses can apply for the YIMES Scholarship Examination, subject to the official eligibility criteria.

Engineering and Technology: Students pursuing B.Tech, B.E., BCA and other eligible technology-related courses.
Medical and Healthcare: Students pursuing MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and other eligible medical or healthcare-related courses.
Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences: Students interested in eligible courses such as Medical Laboratory Technology, Radiology, Physiotherapy and other related fields.
Other Eligible Professional Courses: Additional courses may be included according to the official YIMES Scholarship Rules.

Qualification Requirements

The YIMES Scholarship Examination is open to eligible students who have taken admission in 2026 or are planning to pursue eligible professional courses in 2027.

1. Engineering and Technology Courses

Students pursuing or planning to pursue eligible courses such as B.Tech, B.E., BCA and other technology-related programmes may apply, subject to the applicable eligibility rules.

2. Medical and Healthcare Courses

Students pursuing or planning to pursue eligible courses such as MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Nursing, Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences programmes may apply, subject to the applicable eligibility rules.

3. Class 12 Appearing and Passed Students

Students currently appearing for Class 12 examinations and students who have already passed Class 12 may apply if they meet the requirements for their intended course.

4. Subject Requirements

Engineering courses may require Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
Medical courses may require Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).
Nursing, paramedical and other professional courses may have different subject requirements depending on the course and institution.

5. Government-Recognized Boards:

The candidates who are currently writing or those who have written the Senior Secondary (Class XII) examinations from a recognized Central/State Board including CBSE/ICSE and any India/State board are eligible for the exam.
