Required Subject Group
Your Class XII subject combination must match the course you want to pursue. Engineering commonly requires PCM, while bio-related programmes may require PCB or PCMB.
Recognized Board
The qualifying examination should be from a recognized Central, State or other valid education board accepted for the relevant programme or institution.
Age & Category Rules
Age requirements and relaxation for eligible reserved categories, where applicable, should be checked against the current YIMES notification and programme rules.

PCM
Engineering — B.Tech / BE
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are normally the core qualifying subjects for engineering programmes.
PCB / PCMB
Bio-Engineering / Allied
Biology-based programmes may require Physics, Chemistry and Biology, or PCMB, depending on the course and institution.
COURSE RULE
BCA / Computing Programmes
Eligibility can vary by university or college. Candidates should verify the accepted Class XII subjects and minimum qualification for the selected programme.

Eligible candidates from reserved or supported categories may also have access to applicable government or institutional scholarship schemes.
