Admission follows successful completion of YIMES counselling
The reference YIMES website states that completing the online counselling process is mandatory before admission to a participating college or university. Candidates then report to the allotted campus with their admission letter and required documents for physical verification.

Follow the current candidate portal and institute instructions at every stage.

Download counselling and admission documents
Download the counselling letter and, when released, the admission letter from the official candidate account. Check the allotted institute, branch, reporting details and instructions carefully.

Report to the allotted institute
Visit the allotted college or university within the notified reporting period. Carry the admission letter and the original documents requested for physical verification.

Complete physical document verification
Submit the required originals and photocopies to the admission cell. Admission remains subject to successful verification of academic, identity and category documents where applicable.

Pay the applicable tuition fee
Complete the first-year or first-semester tuition-fee payment through the method currently offered by the institute or YIMES student account and preserve the receipt.

Confirm admission and scholarship status
After the required admission formalities are successfully completed, follow the candidate account and institute instructions for final admission confirmation and applicable scholarship processing.
PHYSICAL REPORTING
Report to the allotted college or university on time
Carry your official YIMES admission documents and originals for verification. The participating institute admission cell will guide you through campus-level verification and fee formalities.

Check the allotted institute, branch and reporting date on your admission letter.

Carry originals plus the required photocopies; keep digital copies available as backup.

Do not rely on an old schedule if a revised reporting notice appears in your candidate account.

REFERENCE FEE ADJUSTMENT
The reference process describes adjustment of the ₹10,000 counselling fee
The reference YIMES admission page states that the first-year or first-semester tuition fee may be paid at the allotted institute admission cell or through the YIMES student account after deducting the ₹10,000 counselling fee. The amount, adjustment method and payable balance for your session must be confirmed from the live payment screen, current policy and allotted institute before making payment.
SCHOLARSHIP AFTER ADMISSION
Scholarship Procedure Complete the admission procedure to proceed with applicable scholarship benefits
The reference YIMES page says scholarships under Sections A, B and C are awarded to qualified candidates who successfully complete the YIMES admission procedure. Final scholarship eligibility, category, amount and continuation conditions remain subject to the current YIMES rules and candidate record.
